Agricultural Buildings
Overview
Durable steel structures for farms, ranches, and agricultural operations. Designed for hay storage, equipment shelter, livestock housing, and processing facilities.
Key Features
Common Uses
Package Considerations Before Ordering
An agricultural package should reflect how the building will be used: equipment, hay, livestock, an arena or another operation. Those uses can require different geometry, ventilation and envelope decisions.
Equipment and use
Provide equipment dimensions and the circulation needed for loading and storage. Confirm opening sizes and eave/clear heights rather than relying on a catalog size range. Livestock and arena needs should be reviewed with the appropriate specialists.
Exposure and ventilation
Moisture, dust, chemicals and animal-related exposure may affect coatings, ventilation and material choices. Insulation and condensation-control requirements should be discussed for the actual use, not treated as identical across agricultural buildings.
Structural and site inputs
Snow, wind, enclosure conditions and the location affect engineering. Open sides and large openings must be disclosed before package pricing. Clear spans remain subject to manufacturer engineering, not a universal 100-foot guarantee.
Separately scoped work
Foundation, site preparation, drainage, doors, utilities and erection must be assigned in writing. Agricultural use does not automatically establish a permit exemption or make a generic pier/slab foundation suitable.
Plan the Complete Building Scope
Use these guides to identify package inclusions, professional dependencies and separately contracted work. MBR can review your requirements before procurement; no construction scope is assumed included.
